Participation of Dr. Salah Hashem in the 11th Annual Conference of the Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL)

World Peace Summit for the Middle East

On September 26, 2025, Dr. Salah Hashem has participated in the 11th Annual Conference of the Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) ,about World Peace Summit for the Middle East.
During his speech, he was keen to address the most pressing issue today, which is moving the world and the human conscience to save it and its people, namely the Palestinian cause.
He emphasized that, for nearly two years, the Middle East has been witnessing escalating wars and all forms of ethnic cleansing and genocide and systematic campaigns to liquidate the Palestinian cause.

Despite all the international and UN warnings about the worsening humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, and even the declaration that the Strip is suffering from famine and malnutrition, the Israeli war machine has not stopped destroying all the essentials of life and targeting women and children.

These warnings and condemnations of Israeli barbarism and aggression against a defenseless people did not deter Israel, which instead launched another ground military operation to destroy what little remained of life in the Strip and force the population to flee and be displaced from their land.
According to Egyptian position, Salah stressed from the beginning and throughout its history, Egypt has tried to defuse crises in the region and pursue a balanced and flexible diplomacy that affirms the right of all people to live in peace side by side without discrimination or division.
Egypt has attempted, through various channels of negotiation, to resolve this conflict and end this genocide, but the Israeli government has had other ideas and has shown no concern for the lives of civilians or even the hostages held in the Gaza Strip.
In fact, that country attacked some countries in the region and launched military strikes, as happened in Iran and Qatar and on an almost daily basis in Lebanon and Syria.
Egypt reaffirms its categorical rejection of any action that threatens the safety and security of countries in the region, and calls for concerted international and regional efforts to stop this war machine and work to preserve the safety, regional security, and national sovereignty of countries. It also stresses the need for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and an end to this conflict.
Egypt also reiterates its rejection of and opposition to any plans to displace the population of the Gaza Strip and affirms that peace will only be achieved through the implementation of relevant United Nations resolutions on the two-state solution, the establishment of a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, and granting the Palestinians the right to self-determination.
To further promote peace in the region, Egypt stresses the importance of the accession of states that have not yet joined the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and ridding the Middle East of nuclear weapons by working to ensure that all countries in the region accede to the Convention on the Prohibition of Weapons of Mass Destruction in the Middle East.
Regarding to the efforts of Egyptian civil society which they based on all these principles that call for peace and stability in the region,Dr. Salah  emphasized all Egyptian state institutions, including civil society organizations, are working together to support the Egyptian state’s position calling for peace in the region and the well-being of our peoples.
Indeed, civil society organizations in Egypt play multiple roles, through providing assistance and support to Palestinian and the peoples of the region in countries suffering from the consequences of war.

As well as coordinating with regional and international organizations to issue a unified position that would end these wars and stop these massacres and destruction, and call for peace in all countries of the region and stand with the Egyptian state to achieve this.
However, it is clear to everyone that continuing this role requires more international support from all civil society institutions and international organizations, foremost among them the United Nations and all peace-loving peoples, to end Israeli aggression and stop the bloodshed in the countries of the region immediately, and to mobilize to begin reconstruction operations in the Gaza Strip
Furthermore, it is essential to play a greater role in the entire Middle East region to help the peoples of the region in countries that have suffered the consequences of war and destruction, such as Lebanon, Syria, and Sudan.
Dr. Salah concluded it’s speech with express on his hope that our organizations will join forces to work together to lay the foundations for peace and stability in the Middle East, in light of the efforts of HWPL, which works through its partners to bring about world peace, as highlighted in the declaration issued, “Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War.”
